Dear Japonette: We are having the grandest weather ever made. I dont know when I have felt better and done less. I received your letter to-day but dont know just where to address this one. From your postal card I infer that you are going to be in Omaha but where I dont know. I think I will just mail this general Del. and take a chance. If you dont get this let me know. Our formal has been put off until May 9th. I suppose you will be home by that time. It is just my luck. You see I cant honorably break the date. I have now nor can I take you both. Is it at all possible that you will be home by May 9th. I was thinking that perhaps if you were going to be home and if Al Mackey comes to the dance and if I could get Al. to take the girl I have asked and if you could come. I say perhaps I could take you to the dance after all. I havent heard from Al since I told him the dance was postponed. I expect a letter from him to-morrow morning. We had a base-ball game and Band Concert last night and yesterday. I (took) or rather went with a girl whom my roommate introduced me to Sunday. She is a liltte short blonde. Real cute and all that but Blonde. The ball game was good. We beat Arkansas 5-3. The music was fine and the weather magnificent, almost a full moon. To-night a few of us went out on a sing-fest at a few of the sorority hourses. After that I had Mawanda meeting. This afternoon Steinmeyer and I went out playing golf. He beat me this time one up. It is a good game for exercise. I have a fair start on my thesis and am almost up in all my work. I havent heard any real news from Waukegan for a long time. I think I will leave the rest of this letter until I find out what the mail brings tomorrow. We Kappa Sigmas play the Sigma Alpha Epsilons a base-ball game tomorrow. So far we have played a but one game and we won that. We have a fairly god chance for the cup. Sunday 27. Lots of things have happened since I laid this letter away. We won our game of base-ball 14-6. The Northwestern team beat Illinois 4-3 in base ball for the first time in 12 years. I went to church to-day. Episcopal chuch. It seems queer how my taste seems to run to Episcopalians. I have had to fill all my Formal dates this week just as though we had had our own formal. I wonder if you will get this at Omaha. I hope so. It is just a little over a month now until I graduate. Think of that. I have another position in view now but dont know how it will pan out. Dear Japonette you have been gone an awful long time. Have you been enjoying yourself all the time. I hope you will soon have enough of it. Your Dahry.
