Dear Japonette: No I havent forgotten you or ceased to think of you. I have been undetermined about where to write to you so I decided to wait and then write to you at home. I suppose this letter will beat you home a little at least I hope so. You surely have been having some trip and an easy time and yet I wouldnt trade places with you. To tell the truth I just hate to think of leaving this place and yet I wouldnt want to think of any more school. I guess I have told you all this before but I cant help it. Our dance is to-morrow night. Of course I expect to have a good time but I wont be able to keep from thinking of you. I am going to call the first and last dance yours and I have one stag dance that I am going to devote entirely to you. I wonder when you will be doing by the time tomorrow night. According to your last letter you will be enjoying yourself and that is exactly what I hope. Do you know I havent seen you for an awful long time and think of all you have seen and done since our last meeting. I would be absolutely home sick if it wasnt for your picture. Every time I look at you you are answering with that same sweet smile. Oh Woman if you only knew how much good you have done me. But you can do me an awful lot more. Our base-ball team (Kappa Sigma) has won every game so far. All we have to play is one more game in our division. My thesis is due next week I am going to hurnf some. No school for the engineers to-morrow be-cause of dedication of a new building to am going to work thesis all day. I have been getting up at 5 oclock morning and doing thesis for a week. I guess I will finish alright. Went to a club dance Saturday and had a fairly good time. Learned the tango, sea-sick glide and fast boston. Saw Ed Cust to-day and had quite a chat with him. I havent heard from Al so I dont know whether he is coming to the Formal to-morrow or not. Havent heard from him since I was home easter. My roomie wants to retire now so I will close. Hope you will be able to read this. Band concert Tuesday night and one to-night. Had the good fortune to be taken to it in an automobile. A Kappa Sigma friend from Wabash. More news next time. I will tell you all I tell you at our dance. Your Dahry. Hello: I am glad I didnt mail this to you at home. I received your letter this P.M. It seems like morning to me though. I didnt get up until noon to-day. The dance lasted until 4:30 A.M. The sun was up before we got to bed. I had some time though. My girl was easily as pretty as any there and if anything better. Had on some pale blue silk with one of these filmy overslips or slip overs and a long train. She surely did me proud. The floor was grand and the evening perfect as the papers would say. It didnt rain and it was nice and cool almost cold. We had lunch after the 12th dance at about 1 oclock. Had 24 dances besides a mans extra and ladies extra. I met a bunch of awfully nice girls but it is, as you say, tiresome to have to be agreeable to a stranger. I didnt hear a word from Al. M. I dont know what is wrong with him. I will address this to Council Bluffs so you will probably get it Monday. I am half asleep now I dont know what I will do if the girl wants to go to a dance to-night. We have all the girls over for dinner to-morrow. Your Dahry. After thought. The Hall was all trimmed with flowers and plants no tawdy paper decorations.
